What is Minehut?
Minehut is a free Minecraft hosting platform with a community-driven server list — every server on the network is free to play.
- Free to join. Bring any legitimate Minecraft Java or Bedrock account. No subscription, no extra download, no payment required.
- Java and Bedrock crossplay. Connect from PC at mc.minehut.com or from iOS, Android and console at bedrock.minehut.com:19132 — Geyser bridges both into one network.
- Official and community servers. Play on Minehut's own SMP and Lifesteal worlds, or pick from hundreds of community-hosted servers across every game mode.
- Live populations. Server cards show real-time player counts so you can pick a server that's actively populated right now.
- Host your own in a minute. Spin up a free Minehut server, install plugins from the dashboard, invite friends. See /server-plans for paid tiers.
Frequently asked questions
Is Minehut free?
Yes. Every server in the Minehut list is free to play. You only need a legitimate Minecraft Java or Bedrock account — no subscription, no credit card.
How do I join a Minehut server?
On Java, connect to mc.minehut.com from the Multiplayer menu, then run /server <name> in the Minehut lobby to pick a server from the list above. On Bedrock, add bedrock.minehut.com on port 19132 in the Servers tab and follow the same /server flow.
Can I play on Java and Bedrock together?
Yes. Minehut runs the Geyser crossplay bridge, so Bedrock players on bedrock.minehut.com can join most Java servers in the network. Java-only mod content (like Cobblemon or Pixelmon) doesn't render on Bedrock, but vanilla, SMP, PvP and minigames all work.
How do I host my own Minecraft server?
Click Log in at the top of any Minehut page, then create a free server in under a minute — pick a template, install plugins from the in-panel marketplace, and invite friends. See /server-plans for paid tiers.
