What is a Skymining server?
Skymining blends Skyblock and Mining — you start on a sky island, then unlock tiered mines below or beside it to drive economy and gear progression.
- Sky island start. Begin on a small floating base, expand outward with limited resources, just like classic Skyblock.
- Tiered mines unlock the loop. Mine coal, then iron, diamond, and netherite as you rank up — each mine pays better and demands a stronger pickaxe.
- Pickaxe enchants and prestige. Custom enchants and rebirth systems extend the progression curve well past vanilla mining.
- Free on Java and Bedrock. Every skymining server here is free to play. Crossplay between PC and mobile via Geyser on most Java skymining servers.
- Hybrid of Skyblock and Mining. If you like the island start of Skyblock but want a deeper mining loop, skymining splits the difference.

What's the difference between Skymining and Skyblock?
Skyblock focuses on island expansion from limited starting resources. Skymining adds a tiered mine system underneath the island — your progression is driven as much by pickaxe upgrades and mine unlocks as by farming and trading. It's the mining-flavored variant of the sky-survival loop.
