What is a Modded server?
Modded servers run Minecraft with client-side mods installed — tech, magic, creature-collecting, or full modpacks that change how the game plays.
- Java Edition required. Mods load through Fabric or Forge in the Minecraft Java client. Match the server's modpack before you connect.
- Cobblemon and creature mods. Catch, train, and battle creatures with Cobblemon and similar mods — multiplayer gyms, raids, trade economies included.
- Tech and magic mods. Pipes, machines, spell systems, dimensions — modded Minecraft rewrites entire gameplay loops that vanilla can't touch.
- Mod content stays Java-only. Bedrock clients can connect to the Minehut network but won't render mod content like Cobblemon. Use Java for modded.

How do I join a Modded server on Minehut?
First, install the server's modpack (typically Fabric or Forge plus specific mods) in your Minecraft Java client. Then connect to mc.minehut.com and pick the modded server from the list above through the Minehut lobby with /server <name>.
Can Bedrock players join Modded servers?
Bedrock clients can connect to the Minehut network via the Geyser crossplay bridge at bedrock.minehut.com:19132, but mod content (Cobblemon, Pixelmon, custom blocks from tech/magic mods) won't render on Bedrock. To play modded properly you need Minecraft Java Edition.
Can I make my own Modded server?
